ClearScore is searching for a talented Payroll Manager on a permanent basis. You will be joining our finance team, based in London, to support ClearScore’s continued growth across the UK, South Africa, Australia, Canada and New Zealand, and across each of its business units (ClearScore, DriveScore, D

One and Aro). You will oversee all payroll operations of close to 500 employees across the ClearScore Group, as well as managing other personnel matters such as expense reimbursements, forecasting, and headcount management. 

What you will be doing:

Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process across all ClearScore Group entities, ensuring accurate and timely submission
Ensure full adherence to all relevant compliance and regulations in each of our payroll jurisdictions
Act as the key point of contact for all employee related payroll queries and manage payroll matters with benefit providers, payroll partners and other internal and external stakeholders
Provide detailed payroll reconciliations, post payroll journal entries onto our general ledger, and assist with financial reporting of staff costs
Keep abreast of payroll legislation, implementing best practices and driving efficiencies in our current systems and processes
Manage ClearScore’s employee expense reimbursement process

Skills We'd Love You To Have

CIPP qualification (or international equivalent) is preferred, but not required
Proven experience in payroll management, preferably within a fast-paced, high growth environment
Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processing software (HiBob/Pento, Deel is advantageous)
Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and compliance (South Africa, Australia and Canada would also be advantageous)
Exceptional attention to detail and effective communication skills with a desire to learn
A drive to make continuous improvements to processes, seek efficiency, and use technology to automate tasks.

 Strong command of core accounting areas: revenue/expense recognition, accruals, prepaid/deferred items, fixed assets, inventory basics, payroll basics, and taxes awareness.
 Proven ability to prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close deliverables with attention to auditability.
 Solid understanding of financial statements (P&amp;L, balance sheet, cash flow) and common classification/presentation issues.
 Familiarity with internal controls concepts (segregation of duties, approvals, documentation standards) and audit readiness.

What You Will Do

Main tasks will include the following:

Working closely with local, EMEA, US, Mumbai teams on an ongoing basis as the key accounting contact as well as reviewing general work &amp; supporting team members in the extended Mumbai team. 
Responsible for overviewing the general accounting processes, i.e. revenue accruals, deferred income, pre-payments for Media segment. 
Withholding tax overview for TWDC UK, monitoring &amp; assisting our Mumbai team in resolving aged &amp; incorrectly withheld balances with key stakeholders such as Tax, Collections &amp; Finance. 
Ensuring compliance with programming accounting policies for EMEA internally developed content, third-party acquisitions, pre-buys (original acquisitions), co-productions, US content, Studio content, contributions, interstitials, development &amp; pilot &amp; content produced for third parties. 
Ensuring quarterly close activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner by facilitation of fast issue resolution &amp; assistance to wider team members. 
Ensuring overall initial review of reporting packages &amp; financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheet flux schedules and impairments, are completed on a timely basis &amp; all issues &amp; variances are followed up where required. 
Liaising with external Auditors on a quarterly basis, including attending the audit calls. 
Undertaking various projects to drive efficiencies within the team &amp; cross-company. 
Identify &amp; drive areas of improvement within current processes with the aim of maintaining the current high standard of service provided in a more efficient manner. 
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley &amp; Disney Minimum Control Standards e.g. journal log. 
Supporting management &amp; wider finance team on any ad-hoc duties 

Required Qualifications &amp; Skills

A Qualified Senior Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with a minimum of 3 years’ post qualified experience 
A background &amp; knowledge of film &amp; TV programming accounting preferred.  
Advanced excel skills and SAP experience 
European language skills are highly coveted 
Strong attention to detail. 
Ability to analyse information critically &amp; ask questions. 
Adaptability &amp; ability to manage tight deadlines. 
Strong interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.

The position

Reporting to theHead of Finance UK&amp;I – Development and Construction, the role is responsible for supporting the team to deliver accurate monthly reporting for all UK &amp; Ireland based financial entities. Key responsibilities

Ownership of month end journals and processes for a number of overhead departments, including HR, Finance and IT 
Prepare accruals and prepayments reconciliations for overhead departments 
Own the month end fixed asset reporting, preparing journals for fixed asset additions and reconciling the fixed asset registers monthly 
Prepare and respond to ONS surveys as required 
Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process for overhead departments, working closely with the Group FP&amp;A team
Work closely with the Group FP&amp;A team to confidently and independently respond to queries relating to month end and full year results 
Play a significant role in the UK audit, supporting with auditor queries and providing supporting documentation as required;
Supportwith ad hoc tasks i.e. 3rd party information requests.

Reconcile a high volume of bank (and equivalent) transactions efficiently across multiple entities, ensuring timely coding and approval.
Manage accounts payable and receivable ledgers, including supplier statement reconciliations and chasing of outstanding balances.
Process employee expenses, credit card reconciliations, and petty cash.
Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC requirements.
Maintain VAT records, reconcile VAT control accounts, and support any VAT queries or inspections as required.
Assist with payroll processing and liaise with external payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate payments.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers; perform regular bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and currencies.
Support the Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly management accounts, accruals, prepayments, and journals.
Producing management accounts for one or more allocated businesses, including Balance Sheet support and P&amp;L movement analytical reviews.
Maintain Fixed Assets schedules across the group.
Assist with year-end close processes and liaise with auditors to provide supporting documentation as required.
Handle all financial matters with absolute discretion and confidentiality at all times.

Skills &amp; Experience:

Part-qualified or AAT-qualified accountant; actively studying towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred.
Solid experience in a transactional finance or assistant accountant role, ideally within a private office, media, entertainment, or multi-entity environment.
Strong working knowledge of VAT legislation and experience preparing VAT returns.
High attention to detail with the ability to process large volumes of transactions accurately and at pace.
Proficient in Xero and confident in Excel.

Assist with process improvements across the finance division using automation. 
Documentation of key finance processes and controls. 
Providing support to the Finance Managers and Financial Accountants. 
All responsibilities will cover aspects of work across multiple entities including the UK and Irish Insurance Companies, MGAs as well as service/holding companies and the Lloyds syndicates. 
Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are considered from a finance perspective, including SOX controls relating to the operations of the business.

We are working with a dynamic, premium quick-service restaurant brand specialising in high-quality, flame-grilled burgers. Operating across multiple locations, they are known for their fresh ingredients, signature recipes, and commitment to operational excellence. They are looking for a detail-oriented and versatile professional to support both the financial backbone and day-to-day administration of their growing operation.

The Account Associate is a hybrid role that blends office administration with core accounting support. Working closely with operations, procurement, and finance teams, you will ensure smooth office workflows, maintain financial controls, and assist with purchasing and inventory administration. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced F&amp;B or hospitality environment and enjoys wearing both administrative and clerical hats.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting &amp; Financial Support:

Assist with daily financial controls, including reconciling sales reports, petty cash, and cashier over/shorts.
Process accounts payable and receivable – code invoices, match purchase orders, and prepare payment batches.
Support month-end closing activities (journal entries, accruals, and basic reconciliations).
Monitor and track operating expenses against budget, flagging discrepancies.
Assist with basic payroll data preparation (hours, tips, deductions).

Purchasing &amp; Inventory Administration:

Support purchasing activities by generating purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and liaising with suppliers.
Assist in inventory administration – conduct periodic stock counts, reconcile usage against sales, and report variances.
Maintain accurate records of inventory adjustments, waste, and transfers between locations (if applicable).

Office &amp; Document Management:

Manage general office operations (supplies, equipment maintenance, vendor communication).
Organize and maintain digital and physical files – contracts, staff records, insurance, health/safety logs.
Prepare internal reports on sales, inventory, and operational metrics for management review.
Assist with onboarding paperwork, schedule coordination, and basic HR administrative tasks.

Compliance &amp; Support:

Ensure adherence to company policies regarding cash handling, purchasing limits, and document retention.
Support internal and external audit requests as needed.
Collaborate with restaurant managers to resolve administrative or invoice discrepancies.

Qualifications &amp; Skills:

1–2 years of combined experience in office administration and basic accounting/clerical work.
Sound understanding of accounting procedures (AP/AR, reconciliations, basic bookkeeping).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Experience gained within the F&amp;B, quick-service restaurant (QSR), or hospitality sector.
Familiarity with inventory management systems or POS data extraction.
Knowledge of UK health &amp; safety / food business regulations is a plus.
Hybrid working arrangement (office + on-site at locations as needed).

Energean is seeking to employ a Senior Accountant to join the Group Reporting team in London. The role will support the preparation of consolidated financial reporting, work closely with international finance teams and external auditors, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality IFRS reporting at group level.

This is a broad role offering exposure to complex accounting matters and international operations.

Key Accountabilities:

Group reporting and consolidation

 Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting processes;
 Review submissions from international finance teams and ensure consistency with group accounting policies;
 Execute consolidation processes and reconciliations.

Technical accounting

 Analyse complex accounting matters and prepare technical accounting papers under UK-adopted IFRS;
 Support the implementation of new accounting standards and group accounting policies;
 Contribute to preparation of disclosures for annual and interim financial statements.

Audit and external reporting

 Work closely with external auditors during interim and year-end audits;
 Support preparation of audit deliverables and respond to audit queries;
 Assist with preparation of papers for senior management and Board / Audit Committee.

Group finance projects

 Support improvements to group reporting processes and systems
 Assist with finance transformation initiatives including consolidation system in SAP and KPI reporting automation
 Contribute to development and documentation of group accounting policies and manuals.

Qualifications, Skills &amp; Experience:

 ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
 Strong knowledge of IFRS and group consolidation
 Experience in group reporting or audit of large international groups, oil &amp; gas or another industry
 Strong analytical and communication skills
 Ability to work with multiple international stakeholders
