As Coder's first EMEA-based Senior Accountant, you’ll be a key member of Coder’s Controllership team, with a primary focus on our UK entity. This role matters because you keep local accounting operations accurate, the close on track, and statutory requirements covered as we grow internationally.

You’ll run day-to-day entity accounting, work closely with Controllership, and coordinate with external advisors and accountants as needed. You’ll partner with Finance and cross-functional teams to keep reporting clean, controls practical, and compliance on time.

What you’ll do here

Serve as a Controllership team representative in EMEA, with primary responsibility for the day-to-day accounting operations of the Coder UK entity.
Own or coordinate core monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for the UK entity, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, intercompany activity, and reporting support.
Partner with third-party accounting firms and advisors, potentially including BDO, to support bookkeeping, statutory filings, local compliance, and other in-country accounting requirements.
Ensure accounting records, supporting documentation, and reporting processes meet local statutory and regulatory requirements in the UK and, over time, broader EMEA needs.
Act as the local point of contact for external audits, statutory audits, and compliance-related requests tied to the UK entity.
Work closely with the global controllership team to align local accounting treatment with company-wide policies, close timelines, and internal controls.
Support intercompany processes, cash activity, invoicing flows, and other operational accounting needs tied to a global parent-subsidiary structure.
Help improve processes as we scale, with an eye toward accuracy, timeliness, and clear ownership across internal teams and external partners.

What we’re looking for

Strong accounting experience in the UK, with hands-on knowledge of local statutory requirements, financial reporting obligations, and entity-level compliance.
Experience managing accounting for a UK subsidiary of a global company or working in a multinational environment with cross-border reporting needs.
Solid understanding of monthly close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, intercompany accounting, and operational accounting fundamentals.
Experience working directly with external accountants, auditors, or outsourced finance partners.
Ability to operate independently in-region while staying tightly aligned with a global controllership organization.
Strong judgment, attention to detail, and a practical approach to building reliable processes.
Clear communication skills and comfort working across time zones with finance and non-finance partners.
Based in London or able to work closely with the London market and UK entity requirements.

Bonus tacos if you have

Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
Experience supporting statutory audits and year-end financial statement preparation.
Familiarity with working alongside firms such as BDO or other outsourced accounting providers.
Experience in a high-growth software or SaaS company.
Broader exposure to EMEA entity support beyond the UK.
Experience with ERP systems, close management tools, and improving finance processes in a scaling environment.

Team and scope

This role sits within Controllership and works closely with Finance.
The initial focus is the Coder UK entity, with potential to support broader EMEA accounting needs over time.
This is a senior individual contributor role with meaningful ownership in-region and a clear path to grow into Accounting Lead, EMEA as our international footprint expands.
You’ll be the in-region accounting partner, working with internal stakeholders and external firms to keep day-to-day accounting operations running smoothly.

Security tools haven’t kept up with how software is built today. They interrupt teams, slow releases, and turn security into a bottleneck instead of a capability. We built Aikido to change that. Aikido builds developer-first security products that reduce real risk without getting in the way of shipping software. We focus on what actually matters and automate the rest.

We’re taking on legacy security tools teams have been stuck with, and we’re winning. If you want to help us take market share and build products developers actually enjoy using, you’re in the right place.

Founded in 2022 by third-time founders, Aikido has $85M in the bank and a long runway ahead. We’re building toward self-securing software. Join an all-star team. Take real ownership. Push boundaries. Build things that matter.

We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to help shape how the world sees Aikido. You’ll lead design for new launches, campaigns, assets, and creative projects that bring our “no-BS security” brand to life, across every channel where developers, partners, and customers meet us.

This role isn’t about endless asset resizing or pixel-pushing. It’s about crafting clean, striking visuals that make complex security ideas instantly clear and unmistakably Aikido.

Responsibilities

Drive creative direction for launches, campaigns, and brand initiatives.

Design assets across digital, print, event, and social channels (think: website visuals, ads, product graphics, and campaign collateral).

Work closely with Aikido’s brand & web designers, ensuring everything we ship looks cohesive, sharp, and no-BS.

Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and partnerships on visual storytelling and go-to-market materials.

Manage design projects end-to-end: from concept and briefing to delivery, feedback, and iteration.

Ability to translate complex concepts to easily understandable visuals

Qualifications:

3+ years of design experience, ideally in tech, SaaS, or developer-focused brands.

Strong portfolio showing print, campaign, and digital design work (not just web).

Experience creating high-quality static content for multiple platforms.

Fluent in Figma & Adobe Creative Suite.

Ability to work fast, stay organized, and ship polished work with minimal fluff.

Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to partner across teams and external agencies while thoughtfully incorporating feedback.

Nice to have:

Experience designing for developers

Familiarity with product design

What you can expect:

High-impact position in a fast-growing company.

Fast growth of responsibility.

Competitive salary package.

A company that sticks to its values in an open and informal atmosphere (see our culture page on the website for more details).

Flexibility in working hours.

You will be recruited based on competencies. Qualities of people are decisive, regardless of gender, religion, ethnic origin, age, ***ual orientation, or disability.

As a Head Waiter/Waitress at ...At Sloane, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests with your focus being not only your section, but passionate knowledge of French Wines.

We are a unique property, blending a service style of gastro precision with dining room warmth, and Parisian glamour. Our menu has existed for 25 years, delivering precise dishes that cannot be found outside of us in London. This iconic menu comes from Hotel Costes in Paris, meaning we have a legacy to uphold. It is this unique legacy that draws people to us, requiring irreproachable standards, so we are strict on set up, service, intervention on a table, and guest relations.

What sets apart our more junior waiters/waitresses and our head waiters/waitresses besides an elevated service style is their wine and food knowledge, and ability to sell. Strict sommelier service is not our style. Our wine-list is French focused, so a real passion for French wine is a must, without the fluff. Honest knowledge, care, and attention when describing and serving wine, but without fanfare or dramatics.

You will collaborate closely with our Restaurant Manager, Floor Manager, and Supervisors, as well as the rest of the team to enhance guest satisfaction and foster a culture of continuous improvement. In this role you will work hard to become part of something truly unlike anywhere else in London.

Guest Experience & Service Excellence:

Be a dynamic and visible presence on the floor—working a section while supporting the wine sales and service of more junior waiters in their sections.
Deliver personal, intuitive service that reflects the calm elegance of our hotel and the individuality of each guest.
Lead by example through your service, setting the tone for energy, professionalism, and guest care.
Direct more junior members of staff on SOPs.
Help develop junior staff by sharing deep knowledge of food, wine, and service etiquette.
Handle guest feedback efficiently and resolve any service issues with care and urgency.
Engage with VIP guests discreetly and professionally, maintaining the high standards expected in our unique setting.

What are we looking for?

Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a luxury dining room/property.
Someone who is not afraid of a quiet service, where focus and commitment must still be maintained.
Excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines and champagne. Strong French wine knowledge with an ability to treat our wines with care, but not fuss. A desire to learn more about the wines on our list is a must.
Someone who feels at home on the dining room floor—personable, gracious, and always guest-first.
Excellent knowledge of food with a high aptitude to learning and describing dishes with flair to both guests and team members.
Strong upselling skills and ability to tailor service to differing guests’ needs.
Somone who stays informed about new trends, fashions, art, and culture.
Ability to speak and write French is desirable but not essential.
Self-starter with creativity, high drive, and result-oriented approach.
Strong work ethic and ability to handle tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong leadership skills to motivate the team and maintain a high level of service.
Calm under pressure, exceptionally detail-oriented, and always aiming higher.
Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Who are we?

We are a 5-star luxury lifestyle boutique hotel located in the heart of Chelsea. Set in a 19th century building next to Sloane Square station and featuring a rooftop restaurant, an intimate cocktail bar, and thirty exceptionally designed bedrooms, the property has been elegantly restored to create unique experiences.

Within one of London’s most stylish interiors, the hotel combines the quintessentially British style of the Cadogan Estate with a unique French touch. Designed as an exceptional and inspiring destination, it highlights the distinguished and historic pedigree of the Sloane Square Conservation Area in a private and intimate setting.

Independently run, the hotel employs passionate, focused individuals with a determination to succeed. To assist us in hosting our wonderful clients, we are on the search for the ambassadors of this truly unique property. They will be given the opportunity to make their own mark while delivering an exceptional service of unparalleled quality.

*Upon successful completion of the probation period

*The service charge range fluctuates based on our forecasted business levels and may vary from month to month.
