Assistant teacher position in a nursery school

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Assistant Teacher/Nursery Nurse/Competent Nanny to work in a reputable nursery in Kensington, alongside our small team of dedicated teachers.

We are looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Nurse/Nanny who is seeking an exciting position where career progression is an option for dedicated members of staff. We would consider someone without qualifications if they have a proven track record of working in childcare.

You will be joining a small team of childcare professionals working in a fun environment at one of the latest additions to our group of outstanding nurseries.

You will be working with children from 2-5 years.

This job would be suitable for a nanny looking for a new challenge working with children.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic person to support the teachers in their daily routine and work with a small but expanding group of children.

The position is term time only.

Requirements:

Excellent spoken and written English and be available for interview.

Experience of working in the UK in a nursery/private day care setting/or as a nanny.

A relevant childcare qualification for the role (minimum NNEB, NVQ2, NVQ3).

A valid full (12-hour) paediatric first aid certificate is essential.

Knowledge and experience of working within and implementing the EYFS statutory framework.

Knowledge and understanding of the safeguarding children obligations.

Approachable and caring with a passion for working with children.
