Hi, I'm Steve - a Producer, Musician and Mix Engineer based in Brighton (and remote)

I love connecting with an artist's vision and helping them to achieve their creative goals by making their songs sound great!

Recording, production, instrumentation, arrangement, mixing, mentorship and guidance.

My deep passion for music, 25+ years of music-making and wide musical & technical skill-set means I'm able to help across the entire song creation process.

I offer a relaxed, collaborative and flexible way of creating and I build the process around you and your goals.

So, whether I'm mixing existing recording, developing demos or creating full tracks from the ground up, I can add value across the entire production process and as an experienced musician, I’m comfortable tracking guitars, bass, synths, beats, sound-design, effects, sampling, percussion etc.

My wide personal network of talented professional musicians means I can always find someone who can play any instruments that I can't! (strings, horns etc).

I love experimenting in the studio and think every recording should be an adventure. I enjoy getting to know the artists I work with so I can be your trusted guide and provide a relaxed environment for to record and perform.

My deep love for authentic music from the full spectrum of genres has helped me develop an instinctive understanding of what a song needs - an important skill for a Producer.

I have been producing & recording music for 25+ years and am still discovering new tricks, pushing my skills and experimenting. Never stop learning! I'm also an artist myself and have played in many bands over the years, so I know what it’s like.
