This is an opportunity to take full ownership of a London-based portfolio within a high-performing, award-winning property management business.
As a Portfolio Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, compliant and insightful financial reporting across multiple developments. You will work closely with operational teams and play a key role in maintaining financial control, supporting decision-making and driving standards.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS
You will take ownership of all financial aspects of your portfolio, ensuring records are accurate, compliant and delivered on time.
You will build strong working relationships with property managers and auditors, acting as a trusted point of contact for financial matters.
You will identify issues early, resolve discrepancies efficiently and continuously look for ways to improve processes and reporting.
You will be trusted to manage your own workload, maintain high standards and deliver consistently.
What Success Looks Like
Financial records are accurate, well maintained and audit-ready
Year-end accounts are delivered on time with minimal audit queries
Cash flow is well managed and service charge accounts are controlled
Reporting is clear, reliable and trusted by stakeholders
Issues are identified early and resolved effectively
How You Will Spend Most Of Your Time
Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts
Managing service charge accounting and cash flow
Producing profit and loss and balance sheet reports
Completing variance analysis and financial reviews
Liaising with external auditors
Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
Working with accounting systems including Propman and Microsoft Excel
Who This Role Is For
You will have strong accounting experience, ideally within property or service charge accounting, and be qualified or working towards a qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or AAT.
You will be highly organised, detail-focused and confident managing multiple priorities.
You will communicate clearly and professionally with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
You will take ownership of your work and care about accuracy, quality and delivery.
Experience That Helps
Residential property management or service charge accounting experience
Experience preparing statutory accounts and managing audits
Familiarity with Propman or similar systems
Strong Excel capability
