Why this job is important
As a Group Accountant at Kantar, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and transparency of our Group financial reporting. Working closely with the Group Reporting Manager, you will support consolidation and external reporting across a complex, global organisation. Your work will help provide clear, trusted financial insight to senior leaders, investors and external stakeholders, enabling informed decision‑making across the business
What you’ll be doing
Support the accurate, efficient and timely monthly consolidation of Group results.
Track reporting timetables and work closely with business units to ensure deadlines are met.
Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual external financial reporting.
Prepare statutory accounts and reports for private equity owners, minority investors and lenders.
Reconcile key balances and prepare supporting schedules for Group reporting.
Perform analytical reviews of consolidated income statements, balance sheets and cash flows.
Monitor the status of subsidiary financial statements and statutory returns across the Group.
Support external and internal audits and help implement agreed audit recommendations.
Play an active role in the implementation and embedding of OneStream.
Provide technical accounting support and contribute to Group Finance projects as required.
The ideal skills & experience
A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
Qualified or part‑qualified member of a recognised professional body (for example CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
Strong working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Experience in Group accounting within a complex, multi‑currency environment.
Strong Excel skills and experience using Group consolidation systems.
A structured, detail‑focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities to deadlines.
Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and geographies.
