My client, a growing financial services business is seeking a high-calibre Junior Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is a broad role combining traditional management accounting responsibilities with support for the investment team, providing excellent exposure to both finance and commercial operations

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
Post journals, accruals and prepayments, and perform balance sheet reconciliations
Support month-end reporting and variance analysis
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Produce management information and ad hoc financial analysis
Support the investment team with reporting and analysis of investment activities
Monitor investment pipeline performance and prepare related reports
Contribute to process improvements and maintain strong financial control

Candidate Requirements

Degree from a Russell Group university
Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACCA
Strong analytical and Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Proactive and organised approach to work

Previous finance experience is required, but industry background is open. Candidates from financial services, professional services, industry or practice environments will be considered.
