You'll manage three designers and a wide brand management portfolio, working with the Senior Brand Manager and the Content Manager to provide a creative, focused approach, providing solutions appropriate to the needs of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for protecting and enhancing our brand, ensuring all of our communications have our core brand narrative and visual identity at their heart. You could also be involved in analysis, such as brand health, voice, content and audience journeys and able to 'tell stories' through data and insight.

You will need to be a confident manager of both people and tactical programmes, knowledge of how to think 'big' across a range of communication channels and be familiar with audience segmentation and strategy development. You will also need to be a great project manager, ideally familiar with tools like Trello and Jira.

Your experience of brand management across integrated content, and specifically across digital channels will be welcomed, and because we are a large organisation, experience of building and leveraging relationships within the Brand team, wider Directorate and senior stakeholders will hold you in good stead.

To do this the right candidate will have:

Leadership & Management: Experience of sideways/upwards leadership and team management, evidence of effective relationship development and management. Evidence of a people-centred approach, e.g., self and team-development, PDPs. Evidence of a proactive approach, demonstrating leadership qualities, and able to make recommendations based on robust analysis. Able to build effective, human relationships with your peers and colleagues across our Directorate and country communications.

Effective delivery: Evidence of working with colleagues across on and off-line channels to deliver brand campaigns, toolkits and design. Digital expertise across search, web, social and internal networks. Understanding of print creative and processes from brief to delivery and working with agencies and suppliers proactively.

Brand management: Experience of implementing brand architecture and applying brand guidelines to materials through creative approaches to design, e-learning and developing and delivering brand training to internal and external audiences. Experience of brand measurement techniques and working with stakeholders to influence direction of KPIs and PIs. Able to provide robust guidance on brand design, messaging and creative across on and offline channels. Able to support and guide colleagues in your team and more widely to design and deliver brand-related products and spot new brand portfolio requirements.
