A Special health authority- delivers a service focused on the protection of NHS resources from crime.

The aim their work is to protect health and care staff and resources from activities that would otherwise undermine their effectiveness and their ability to meet the needs of patients and professionals.

Ultimately this helps to ensure the proper use of valuable resources and a safer, more secure environment in which to deliver and receive care.

Your new role

You will work as part of the Corporate Communications Team whose joint remit is to ensure the successful creation and delivery of corporate communications, and organisational wide programmes of work. A significant aspect of this role includes the development, delivery and co-ordination of internal and external communication activity.You will be a subject matter expert in the development of a wide range of corporate communication programmes, campaigns and platforms, ensuring all work is in line with the strategic direction and corporate image.This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent campaign, project management and communication skills as well as collaborative working with all areas of the special health authority and a wide range of stakeholders key to shaping and managing an ambitious and complex planned programme of activity over the coming years.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience of working within a publishing or editorial environment.Knowledge of staff management and leadership practices.Experience of developing wide scale corporate programmes of work and seeing activity from inception to conclusion.Demonstrable ability to tackle a number of diverse tasks and be able to prioritise work accordingly whilst working to tight deadlines.Excellent writing, editing and proof reading skills and a meticulous attention to detail. In depth knowledge of media and communication strategies. Good understanding of graphic design and typography in relation to printed and electronic materials.Confident and competent level of expertise with design software (Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and MS Project).The ability to display tact and political sensitivity when discussing required standards of work with staff. .
